A pandemic baby

The shortage of critical-care services became especially apparent during the second wave of the pandemic, when harrowing stories of patients desperately in need of ICU beds were widely shared on social and mainstream media across the world. CPR was established during the height of the pandemic, a time that starkly revealed the critical gaps in healthcare infrastructure. CPR is non-profit dedicated to addressing the lack of access to critical care facilities for the underprivileged in India.

Reviving Hope: Dedicated Physicians and Critical Care Facilities

Throughout our journey, we have encountered numerous stories where timely access to critical care, provided by ethical physicians, has been transformative for vulnerable individuals. Identifying the most impactful geographic locations, along with dedicated physicians who are filled with compassion, is what we do best.
Founded in 2020 in the United States by an accomplished cardiac surgeon, Dr. Satya Garimella, and 2 successful healthcare entrepreneurs, Krishna Kottapalli and Udai Kumar. Our donations go directly towards setting up intensive care facilities that can serve the underprivileged.

What We Do

  • We provide critical care equipment and set up critical care facilities for hospitals that can cater to the burgeoning rural and urban population of India.

How We Do It

  • We identify hospitals that need critical care facilities and undertake a comprehensive process of due diligence. The hospital’s legal position, auditory compliance, standards, capabilities, and conformity to our values are just a few of the things we thoroughly investigate with the help of our partners.
  • We partner with hospitals to establish and upgrade ICUs, provide medical equipment and training, and promote best practices and quality care standards.
